Obstructive disease is one of the most frequent pathologies in surgical practice. the etiology includes adherent syndromes if there is a surgical history, up to congenital flanges, hernial defects, neoplastic lesions and less frequently intestinal volvulus. Intestinal volvulus is produced by torsion of a mobile segment of the colon around its mesenteric axis and its most frequent locations are the sigma, cecum and the transverse colon, relating to various factors its etiopathogenesis.
