Falls in older people are a common problem that can have serious health consequences. The incidence of falls is almost 3 times higher in institutionalized elderly living. To determine which interventions are most effective exercise to reduce falls in elderly institutionalized. 8 ECA were selected, 3 used an exercise program as an intervention, 3 used a vibrating platform, 1 made an interdisciplinary intervention study and one study used a system to improve balance (Biodex Balance System). After performing the search, we cannot establish that intervention is more effective exercise to prevent falls.
