Abstract
The propose of this study was to examine the influence of an indoor-football teaching unit, which consisted of 8 sessions, given through Sport Education Model (SEM) and Traditional Teaching Model (TPE) on the Secondary students’ level of enjoyment in Physical Education class. To this end, an intra- and inter-group analysis were performed. A total of 38 students (21 girls and 17 boys; Mage = 13.55, DT= .72), matriculating at second course of Secondary Education, participated, who were grouped in SEM (n = 20) and TPE (n = 18) group. The results of inter-group analysis have indicated that SEM is the model which improved more significantly the level of enjoyment compared with TPE group in post-test. While, intra-group analysis revealed a significant improvement in SEM group and a significant reduction in TPE between pre- and post-test on level of enjoyment in Physical Education class.
