Abstract
In this paper a data collection is developed and applied, generating a analysis tool. This tool allows research in procedural, declarative, conditional, ethical-affective and socio-cultural writing competences. The applied tools are a semi structured metasociocognive interview on writing and a category system which makes operational metasociocognitive competences in any language. The tools are fundamental for the analysis of the verbal writing products’ content. A multimethod research methodology is applied which combines the Content Analysis and the Expert Judgment procedure with statistical reliability criteria.
